Michael S. Nagy is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Zoning Group. His law practice is concentrated in the areas of land use, zoning, natural resources, and construction law. Mr. Nagy’s technical background and experience as a registered landscape architect/land planner allows him to provide clients with a unique perspective into the planning, development, and construction of complex real estate projects. Mr. Nagy is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and Commonwealth of Virginia, is qualified to practice before the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland and the Eastern District of Virginia and a member of the Virginia State Bar and Prince George’s County Bar Associations. He also regularly represents clients before County and Municipal Councils, Zoning Hearing Examiners, Planning Boards and Boards of Appeal. Mr. Nagy has lectured for Continuing Legal Education programs on the topics of procurement and legal issues for design professionals and is the author of the law review article, “The Definition of Wetlands under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act: Past, Present and Future” U.Balt.Env.L.Rev., Vol.III, No.2 (Summer 1993).
