M. Celeste Bruce has over a decade of experience in broad-based commercial and complex civil litigation in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Her experience includes litigating commercial bankruptcy matters, including fraudulent transfers and preferences, State law creditors’ rights disputes and other matters involving general commercial law, and personal injury. Ms. Bruce has represented creditors on matters involving notes, guarantees, confessed judgments, and the enforcement and execution of judgments in multiple jurisdictions. Her experience also includes matters involving business torts, employment issues, contract disputes, trademark issues, franchise disputes and medical malpractice.
Ms. Bruce is a graduate of Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, Women’s Bar Associations of Maryland and Montgomery County, and American Bar Association. She is also a member of the U.S. District Court of Maryland, U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
